Two years ago, I started Reel+True to support my family in the years following my dad’s stroke.
I grew up helping my dad with his wedding videography business in my hometown of New Orleans. 6 years later, all that equipment was sitting in our garage in Whitby with nothing to do. Until I decided that there was a gap missing in the videography field. Not just for black women but for all people. For people who needed the opportunity to realize their dreams and have it on film.
That’s what Reel+True is about. Making video adoption accessible and visions achievable.

Black-Owned and Woman-Owned, our mission is to deliver professional, affordable videography for weddings, small businesses, and projects throughout Durham Region and the GTA, always prioritizing genuine connection and client vision.
